What changed
Prices move, free plans shrink, and affiliate programmes accept or refuse us. All of it goes here, dated, whether it flatters us or not.
There is no byline on this site, so this page does the job a byline does: it lets you check whether the numbers you are reading are being maintained by anyone. 8 entries so far, newest first. If you find a figure that should be on this list and is not, tell us.

NordVPN's affiliate programme accepted us
The link to NordVPN on the VPN comparison is now a tracked affiliate link, and the label beside the button says so. Its rank did not move: NordVPN was first on the published criteria before the application went in, and it is first now. It is the only vendor on this site that pays us anything.

Impact and PartnerStack both declined our partner accounts
That decision blocks HubSpot, GetResponse, Kit, ManyChat and Capsule, all of which run their programmes through one of those two networks. Every link to those five earns us nothing, and each one now says so beside the button rather than in a footnote.

The free CRM comparison went up
HubSpot, Attio, Zoho CRM and Capsule priced on their own US pricing pages, in USD. Pipedrive and Folk were priced first and then left off, because neither has a free plan and padding a free-CRM page with paid tools is the standard trick on this search.

Kit added to the email marketing comparison
Read off kit.com/pricing, whose billing toggle defaults to yearly: $39 a month at 1,000 subscribers, $89 at 5,000, and a free plan that carries 10,000 subscribers with exactly one automation. The free-plan figure is the largest in the category by an order of magnitude, and the upgrade behind it is the most expensive on the page.
July 2026
Email marketing, web hosting and VPN comparisons verified
All three re-checked against official pricing and documentation pages, in USD, monthly billing unless stated. Where a vendor publishes only adjacent tiers, the interpolated figure is marked with a tilde rather than presented as read.
May 2026
Namecheap raised its renewal prices
The Stellar plan now renews at $55.88 a year, about $4.66 a month. It is still the smallest promo-to-renewal gap on the hosting page, which is why Namecheap keeps its rank.
March 2026
ManyChat cut its free plan from 1,000 active contacts to 25
The pricing overhaul that did it was widely criticised. The email marketing table carries the new number, because most articles still quote the old one.
Sept 2025
MailerLite's free plan went from 1,000 subscribers to 500
Recorded in the email marketing comparison. MailerLite still ships automation on the free tier, which nobody else on that page does.
